Railway Recruitment 2025:Candidates must have passed 10th with 50 per cent marks. It is also necessary to have done ITI in the relevant trade.

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has released the recruitment notification for the position of trade apprenticeship in the South Central Railway (SCR). There are 4,232 jobs on offer through this recruitment drive for class 10th and ITI pass candidates. The application process has begun and the last date to register is January 27, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website of South Central Railway, scr.indianrailways.gov.in. This apprenticeship will be for one year only.

The trades which are being hired by SCR include:

— Air Conditioning

— Carpenter

— Diesel Mechanic

— Electronic Mechanic

— Electrician

— Fitter

— Painter

— Welder

RRC SCR Recruitment 2025: Eligibility For Apprenticeship

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th with 50 per cent marks. It is also necessary to have done ITI in the relevant trade.

Age Limit: The age of the candidates should be between 15 to 24 years as of December 8, 2024. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules.

Step 1 — Visit the official website of SCR — scr.indianrailways.gov.in.

Step 2 — Register yourself and fill out form.

Step 3 — Upload the necessary documents. Submit.

Step 4 — Pay the application fee.

Step 5 — Download and print the acknowledgment form for future use.

Railway Recruitment 2025: Application Fee

The application fee for trade apprenticeship is Rs 100 for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates. While the application is free for SC, ST, and PH candidates.

Railway Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

There will be no written exam for the trade apprenticeship recruitment in railways. Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit. There will be a document verification and medical test.

RRC SRC Recruitment 2025: Salary

Selected candidates will get a salary ranging between Rs 7700 to Rs 20200 per month depending upon their trade.
