Rajasthan governor notifies appointments of vice-chancellors for two varsities – ET Government

Clearing the top level appointments, officer of Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra has notified the appointment of vice-chancellors for two universities in the state.

According to the notification issued by the Governor’s office, Prof Ramesh Chandra has been appointed as vice-chancellor of Maharaja Surajmal Brij University in Bharatpur.

Further the name of Prof Sheel Sindhu Pandey is cleared to take over the role as vice chancellor at Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University in Alwar.

As per the notification released on Wednesday, Chandra is currently working as director at the University of Delhi’s Institute of Nano Medical Sciences while Pandey was a professor at RD University in Jabalpur at the time of their appointments.

Mishra issued the appointment orders in consultation with the state government.
