RPSC Recruitment: Statistical Officer Notification Released at rajasthan.gov.in – News18

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released the Statistical Officer notification for a total of 72 posts. Candidates who are interested in applying for the position will be able to apply for the Rajasthan Statistical Officer exam from September 15 onwards through the official website of the commission at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. Additionally, the last date to apply for the application is October 14.

RPSC Statistical Officer Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria

Age Requirement: The applicants must be between 21 and 40 years old as of January 1, 2024. It is important to note that upper-age relaxation is available for candidates belonging to different reserved categories.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a second-class master’s degree in economics, statistics, or mathematics with a statistics paper. Additionally, those with an MSc in Agriculture Statistics and RS-CIT course certificates are also eligible.

Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of one year of experience handling official statistics in a government department, a reputed commercial concern, or a university. They should also have knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

RPSC Statistical Officer Recruitment Notification: Steps to Download

Step 1: Log on to the official website of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate and click on the ‘Recruitment Advertisement’ option.

Step 3: A new window will be displayed. Now, click on the link title, ‘Advt. No.07/2023-24 for Statistical Officer Exam 2023.’

Step 4: The RPSC Statistical Officer Recruitment will be displayed on the screen. Check all the details mentioned in the notification carefully.

Step 5: If required, download and take a printout of the same for your reference.

RPSC Statistical Officer Recruitment: Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the general category and other state candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 600. On the other hand, BC (non-creamy layer), EBC (non-creamy layer), EWS, SC, ST, PwD, and other reserved category candidates will have to pay Rs 400 as the application fee. If candidates make corrections after the correction window opens, they will have to pay Rs 500.

RPSC Statistical Officer Recruitment: Exam Process

The Statistical Officer exam will last for two hours and thirty minutes. It will comprise 150 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark. The exam will consist of 40 questions related to general knowledge of Rajasthan and 110 questions from the concerned subject. A negative marking of one-third mark will be applied for each incorrect answer.
