RRB ALP Recruitment 2025: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has postponed the start of the application process for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Recruitment 2025 for two days. Earlier this process was to start from April 10, 2025, which has now later deferred to April 12, 2025. The last date to apply is May 12, 2025.

Under this recruitment drive, candidates will be selected for a total of 9,970 posts in various RRB zones across the country.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be class 10th pass and have an ITI certificate in the related trade. Class 10th pass and having three years engineering diploma will also be eligible to apply. All candidates having graduate degree in engineering (in related field) can apply.
Age limit: Candidates who want to apply for the job of Assistant Loco Pilot in Railways, their age limit should be between 18 years to 30 years as on 1st July 2025.
RRB ALP Recruitment 2025: Application Fee
Application fee for General/OBC candidates: Rs 500 (Rs 400 refundable if appearing in CBT 1)
Application fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen: Rs 250 (Full amount refundable if appearing in CBT 1)
RRB ALP Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
CBT 1 – Preliminary Computer Based Test (75 questions, 1 hour)
CBT 2 – Main exam in two parts Part A: 100 questions (90 minutes) Part B: 75 questions (60 minutes), from trade subjects
CBT – Computer Based Aptitude Test (only for selected candidates) Document Verification and Medical Examination – Final Phase
There will be no negative marking in CBT, whereas negative marking of 1/3 marks will be applicable in CBT 1 and CBT 2.
RRB has advised the candidates to match their Aadhar details with their class 10th mark sheet. There may be a delay in document verification if there is any error in name or date of birth.
