The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is expected to announce the examination dates for the RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) exam 2025 shortly. The registration process which began on September 13, 2024, closed on October 27, 2024. The correction window was open from October 23 to November 6, 2024. The exam dates could be out anytime soon.

A total of 8,113 graduate positions and 3,445 undergraduate positions will be filled through the RRB NTPC 2025 Examination. This includes 2022 vacancies for Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, 72 for Train Clerk, 361 for Accounts Clerk cum Typist and 990 for Junior Clerk cum Typist.

Step 2: Navigate to and click on the RRB NTPC 2024 recruitment notification link, once the exam dates are out.

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection process for the RRB NTPC Exam 2025 involves multiple stages, including the 1st Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage CBT, Typing Skill Test/Computer-Based Aptitude Test (for select posts), and Document Verification/Medical Examination. Selection will be strictly merit-based, determined by performance across these stages.

The examination will be conducted in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

Candidates should note that a negative marking of 1/3 mark will be applied for each incorrect response in both CBT 1 and CBT 2 exams.

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024: Salary Details

Those selected for the posts of Junior Clerk cum Typist will get a salary of Rs 19,900; Accounts Clerk cum Typist and trainee clerk will get Rs 19,900 while commercial cum ticket clerk will get paid Rs 21,700 per month.
