RRB NTPC Exam Dates 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the exam schedule for the RRB NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) 2025 recruitment. Candidates who have registered for the recruitment examination are eligible to appear for the upcoming Computer-Based Test (CBT).
According to the official announcement, the RRB NTPC CBT for graduate-level posts will be held from June 5 to June 23, 2025. The admit cards for the examination will be released on June 1, 2025.
The exam will be conducted in multiple stages and shifts across various centres throughout India to accommodate the large number of candidates. The schedule for undergraduate-level posts will be released in due course.
This year’s recruitment drive has drawn massive interest, with over 1.21 crore applicants vying for 8,113 graduate-level vacancies. The positions include Station Master, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Junior Clerk cum Typist, and Senior Clerk, among others.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official RRB websites for updates and further instructions regarding the exam and admit card download.

RRB NTPC Exam 2025: Selection Process
The selection process comprises multiple stages aimed at thoroughly evaluating candidates. It starts with Computer-Based Test 1 (CBT 1), which includes 100 questions covering General Awareness, Reasoning, and Mathematics. Candidates who clear this stage will proceed to the next phase, which involves either a Typing Skill Test or Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBT 2), depending on the specific post applied for. This will be followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination.
The final selection will be strictly merit-based, determined by candidates’ overall performance in all stages. Both CBT 1 and CBT 2 will have negative marking, with one-third of a mark deducted for each wrong answer.
