The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the exam dates for the RPF Constable Exam 2024. This notice regarding the same is available on RRB’s official websites. The exams will be conducted from March 2 to March 20, 2025.
The exam will last for 90 minutes and will have a total of 120 questions. Each correct answer will get 1 mark. No marks will be given or deducted for unanswered questions, but 1/3rd of a mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
To qualify, candidates from the UR, EWS, and OBC-NCL categories need at least 35%, while SC and ST candidates need 30%. The marks scored in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be used to shortlist candidates for the next stages of the recruitment process.
The link to check the exam city and date, as well as download the travel pass for SC/ST candidates, will be available 10 days before the exam on RRB websites. The admit card will be released 4 days before the exam, as mentioned in the exam city and date intimation link.

Candidates appearing for the RPF Constable Exam 2024 will have to undergo Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication before entering the exam hall. They must carry their original Aadhaar card or a printout of e-verified Aadhaar for verification. To avoid any issues at the exam center, candidates who haven’t completed Aadhaar verification are advised to do so by logging in at rrbapply.gov.in.
The selection process includes an online Computer-Based Test (CBT) as the first stage. Based on their performance in CBT, candidates will be shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and Document Verification (DV). The number of candidates selected for these stages will be 10 times the available vacancies in each category (Male, Female, Ex-Servicemen).
This recruitment drive aims to fill 4,208 Constable posts in the Railway Protection Force (RPF). The registration process began on April 15, 2024, and ended on May 14, 2024. For further details, candidates should visit the official websites of RRBs.
