SAMS Odisha Phase 2 UG Admission Revised Schedule Issued, Check Details – News18

The revised schedule for the second phase of undergraduate admissions has been issued by the Higher Education Department, Odisha. Students can check the revised schedule at the official portal of SAMS at samsodisha.gov.in. As per the revised schedule of SAMS Odisha phase 2 UG admissions, the last date to submit the Common Application Form (CAF) is September 16 (up to 11:45 PM). However, the application correction window will remain open from September 17 (11 AM) and will close on September 18 (11:45 PM).

Furthermore, the provisional allotment of seats along with waitlisted applicants in the higher educational institutions will be announced on September 26 at 12 PM, and students can pay the admission fee for SAMS Odisha UG admission fees online through the SAMS student account portal from September 26 (1 PM) to 11:45 PM on September 28.

Candidates should further note that they will have to report at the allotted institutes for admission between September 27 and September 30 until 5 p.m. (except holidays). Waitlisted candidates will have to report for the submission of CAF applications and other required documents to take part in the waiting list admission round, which is scheduled to be conducted from 9 a.m. on October 3 to 5 p.m. on October 4.

For the waitlisted candidates who reported for the round, the merit lists will be issued on the institutes’ notice boards on October 6 at 2 p.m. Hence, candidates can report to the allotted institutes for admission and pay the fees until October 10 (up to 5 p.m.). Additionally, it is important to note that candidates’ data has to be updated by 9 p.m. on October 11.

Along with that, for verification and the admission round, he or she will be required to submit the downloaded intimation letter along with the CLC and other relevant documents at the institutions. Data updation of admitted candidates by institutions will be done between 9 a.m. on September 27 and 9 p.m. on September 30 (except holidays) for the first round of admission. Candidates should further be aware that they will have to pay the SAMS Odisha UG 2023 admission fees again, while they are not required to pay the CAF fees. Note that if the student has already paid the admission fees earlier in the phase 1 admission process, that fee will be refunded.

However, the upper-choice institutions of an applicant as well as the not selected applicants will be considered for the waiting list round in a 1:10 ratio after the publication of the first-round selection.
