SBI PO Prelims Result 2025: Through this recruitment, SBI will fill 600 PO vacancies, including 586 regular posts and 14 backlog vacancies.

The State Bank of India (SBI) declared the Probationary Officer (PO) preliminary examination result 2025 on April 5. The SBI PO result along with the cutoff marks has been released on the official website, sbi.co.in.

Through this recruitment, SBI will fill 600 PO vacancies, including 586 regular posts and 14 backlog vacancies. The exam was held on March 8, 16, 24 and 26. As per the marking scheme, for every wrong answer, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. However, if a question is left unanswered, no marks will be deducted.

Step 3 – Enter your registration number/roll number and date of birth/password.

To get an idea of the expected cut-off marks, let’s take a look at the previous year cut off marks for various categories:

General: 50-55

Other Backward Class: 49-54

Economically Weaker Section: 50-55

Schedule Caste: 43-48

Schedule Tribe: 38-43

SBI PO Prelims Exam 2025: What’s Next?

Those who clear the preliminary exam will next be called for the main exam which is scheduled to be conducted in April/May 2025. The exact exam date and time are expected to be notified by the SBI soon. It will contain objective questions worth 250 marks.

The last stage in the selection process includes a Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, and Interview. The final selection will be based on performance in this round. Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs 41,960 per month.

A candidate must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government to be eligible for the exam. Furthermore, they must be between 21 years and 30 years of age.
