Scholarship For Indians At the Ohio State University
Are you the one exploring scholarships for Indians at the Ohio State University. Ohio State University (OSU) was founded in 1870 as a public research university in Columbus, Ohio. Founders initially named it The Land-Grant University, and it has earned a ninth ranking in Ohio. 1. Graduate Student Grant
This scholarship is to promote mutual understanding among foreign countries, their cultures, and the peoples of those countries through their academic studies.
Eligibility:
Any international student who has completed his / her graduation from a recognized university is eligible.
Scholarship Amount: $ 2,000 to $ 4,500
Condition: The applicants have to share from their home unit an amount of $ 500
How to Apply:
Applicants must electronically submit their application to oia-grants@osu.edu. The submission must include a completed application form, which is available on the website, along with a 3-5 page project description, a research program budget sheet, and the applicant’s curriculum vitae (CV) or resume. Additionally, two letters of recommendation from Ohio State faculty members, including the dissertation/thesis advisor, and their advising report must also be included.

2. University- Specific Scholarship
Special Eligibility Scholarship: OSU offers dozens of scholarships with different eligibility requirements. To qualify, students are encouraged to establish a profile on ScholarshipUniverse, OSU’s scholarship-matching platform, and submit the required applications by the priority deadline of February 15.
Departmental Scholarship: Several colleges and departments at OSU provide scholarships based on a student’s major field of study. For example, the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences provides several scholarships to students majoring in the college.
The Ohio State University also opened a Gateway office in Mumbai, India in March 2012. It was opened in order to advance its teaching, research, and engagement mission and also to enhance its global reach. This Gateway serves as a catalyst to enhance its faculty research and teaching interest. It also helps increase its partnerships with international institutions and Ohio-based businesses abroad. It serves as a hub for the university’s corporate partnership program which identifies and matches the students to the internship, partnering with the international universities to create specialized dual degree programs.
