Schools and Colleges in the non-border district of Jammu and reopoened on Tuesday.

The Schools and Colleges in the Union Territory were temporarily shut due to the growing dangers emerging from the India-Pakistan conflict.

The conflict started in late april with the deadlu terrorist attacks in the Pahalgam district of Kashmir which led to 28 civillian deaths.

The conflict further escalated with India’s response to terror through precisio strikes on the terrorist bases in Pakistan.

The schools and colleges in the Union Territory were closed in the view of the conflict between India and Pakistan.

This military standoff between the two states grew worries about further escalation.

However, after the ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, the hostilities came to a pause.

In the light of such conditions, the schools and colleges across bordering states were shut due to security concerns.

This was lifted on Tuesday for the non-border distrcits where schools and colleges were resumed. However, the same cannot be said for the districts closer to the borders.

On Tuesday, the educationl institutions in the non-border districts of Jammu and Kashmir were reopened.
