SSC CGL 2024: Final Vacancy List Increased, Option-cum-Preference Window Opens For Tier 2 Applicants – News18

SSC CGL 2024: Candidates appearing for the SSC Tier 2 exam can fill out the preference form on the official website ssc.gov.in. The last date to apply is February 27 till 5 pm.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened the window to fill the Option-cum-Preference Form for posts and departments for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 exam. Candidates appearing for the SSC Tier 2 exam can fill out the preference form on the official website ssc.gov.in. The last date to apply is February 27 till 5 pm. For this, candidates will have to log in by going to the candidate login tab. After this, they will have to go to “My Application” and select their preferred posts and departments.

SSC has also released the final vacancy details for this recruitment campaign. Through this, 18,174 posts will be filled by the comission. According to the notification, there are 1433 vacancies for Assistant/Assistant Section Officer in Department of Personnel and Training (ASO in CSS), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. While there are 73 vacancies for Assistant/Assistant Section Officer in Intelligence Bureau.

The notification of SSC CGL 2024 was released on June 24, 2024. The CGL Tier-1 exam was conducted in CBT mode. The result of which was released on December 5, 2024, so that the candidates could be shortlisted for CGL Tier-2. The Tier-2 exam was held from January 18 to 20 and 31. Before the final result, candidates are required to fill out the preference form for the post/department.
