SSC GD Recruitment: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will commence the SSC Constable (GD) Recruitment Exam on February 4, 2025.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to conduct the SSC Constable (GD) Recruitment Exam starting from February 4, 2025. The SSC GD Constable Exam 2025 is scheduled to take place on the following dates: February 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 25. Candidates can download the admit card from the official website at ssc.gov.in. Those selected will be appointed as Constables and Riflemen in various Central Armed Police Forces (CRPF). Aspirants should familiarise themselves with the salary structure, pay scales, bonuses, and other benefits, especially following the revisions under the 8th Pay Commission.

SSC GD Pay Scale and Benefits Under 8th Pay Commission

According to the new pay scale introduced under the 8th Pay Commission, the salary for the SSC GD Constable position ranges from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 in Pay Level 3. In addition to the base salary, candidates will be eligible for several allowances, including a Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance.

The in-hand salary for SSC GD personnel will be approximately Rs 37,325 per month after deductions, making it a highly attractive opportunity. The salary package includes a Grade Pay of Rs 2,000, and the Government’s contribution to the National Pension System will range from Rs 1,800 to Rs 5,400. The Monthly Gross Salary will be between Rs 41,077 and Rs 45,417, with the in-hand salary after deductions ranging between Rs 32,985 and Rs 37,325.

SSC GD Constable: Promotions And Career Growth 

Once appointed, candidates will undergo a probationary period, after which they will be eligible for promotions based on their performance and seniority.
