A total of 9,343 candidates have been qualified in the CBT for the post of stenographer Grade C, and 26,608 for the post of stenographer Grade D.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has made the SSC Stenographer Result 2024 public for Grade C and Grade D positions. Candidates who participated in the SSC Stenographer Computer-Based Test (CBT) on 10th and 11th December 2024 can now check their results online at the official website ssc.gov.in. To fill the 2,006 positions, the SSC held the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Examination 2024.

The Stenographer Grade C and D exam 2024 result list consists of the names of candidates qualified, along with the cut-off scores for each category. A total of 9,343 candidates have been qualified in the CBT for the post of stenographer Grade C, and 26,608 for the post of stenographer Grade D.

The official announcement states that two candidates’ candidatures have been rejected, four applicants’ candidatures have been terminated, and the results of seven candidates have been withheld in accordance with court procedures. The Commission will soon make available on their website the final answer keys and scores for both qualifying and ineligible applicants.

SSC Stenographer 2025: How To Check Result?

Step 1. Check the SSC official website, ssc.gov.in.

Step 2. Click on the “Steno ‘C’ and ‘D'” tab after selecting the “Result” section.

Step 3. Now, click on the link “Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination 2025: List of Candidates Shortlisted for Document Verification”.

Step 4. Download the PDF version of the SSC Stenographer Result 2025.

Step 5. Press Ctrl+F to open the PDF, then type your name or roll number.

Step 6. If your name shows up, you will be eligible for further process.

Step 7. Save the file and print it off for future reference.

Underserved (UR): 30%

OBC/ EWS: 25%

All other categories (SC, ST, PwD, ESM, etc): 20%

SSC Stenographer 2024: What’s Next?

The selection process consists of a Computer-Based Test, a Skill Test and Document Verification. Candidates whose names are on the merit list will move on to the Document Verification stage, while those who passed the CBT will take the Stenography Skill Test, which will be held at the Commission’s Regional Offices or designated centres. The final selection will be based on performance in both the CBT and the Skill Test, followed by Document Verification.
