Tamil Nadu Schools Reopen With Cyber Crime Training, Compulsory Reading Hour, Daily Group Exercise

Schools across Tamil Nadu reopened on Monday after the long summer break. On this occasion, the Tamil Nadu School Education Department issued a circular to all district education officials, outlining key instructions for the new academic year. (News18 Tamil)

One of the main directives is to make students aware of internet safety. Schools have been asked to provide training that will help children protect themselves from cybercrime and harmful online activities. (News18 Tamil)

The department has also permitted schools to carry out co-curricular activities during regular school hours. These include the Red Cross, National Cadet Corps (NCC), Scouts, and the National Welfare Programme. (News18 Tamil)

All headmasters and teaching staff have been instructed to strictly follow the daily attendance schedule. Physical education teachers, in particular, must report 30 minutes before the start of school each day. (News18 Tamil)
