Telangana Inter Exams: TSBIE will award full marks to students who attempted Question 7 in the TS Inter 2nd-year English exam after complaints of errors in the paper.

Telangana Board Exams: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has decided to give full marks to all students who attempted question number 7 in the TS Intermediate 2nd-year English exam held yesterday, March 10, 2025. The board made this decision after receiving complaints from some students about errors in the question, which was based on a pie chart.

This year, a total of 9.96 lakh students are appearing for the TS Intermediate public exams. The exams started on March 6, and the English II paper for 2nd-year students was conducted today from 9 am to 12 noon across 1,532 exam centres.

“Following this, a thorough discussion was held with subject experts to assess the issue. In the interest of fairness and ensuring that students are not at a disadvantage due to printing inconsistencies, the Board has decided to award full marks for the respective question to all students who attempted to answer it in the answer sheet,” the TGBIE said in an official statement.

“TGBIE remains committed to conducting examinations transparently and ensuring that no student is disadvantaged due to unforeseen errors,” the secretary of the Telangana Board said.

The TS 2nd year English II question paper carries 100 marks. A total of 4,46,992 students had registered for the exam, out of which 4,33,963 appeared, while 13,029 students were absent. The TS Intermediate Public Exam (IPE) Class 12 board exams will continue till March 25, 2025.
