Telangana: Telangana declared two days holiday for schools – Times of India

HYDERABAD: In view of the heavy rains across Telangana with upto 19cm rains reported in 24- hours at Jangaon and various other districts of East Telangana, the government announced two day holiday for all educational institutions. The holidays will be in effect from July 20, Thursday and July 21, Friday
The announcement was made by Sabitha Indra Reddy, Education Minister via her Twitter account.
The state is presently under orange and yellow alert as three different weather systems have engulfed the state leading to large amounts of rainfall. The state capital, Hyderabad also has seen moderate amount of rains for the last two day of continuous rains. As per officials from disaster relief force, nearly 34 tree falls were recorded in last 24 hours in Greater Hyderabad Municipal corporation limits.
