TG PGECET 2025: The entrance exam, used for admissions into various postgraduate engineering programmes in Telangana, will take place from June 16 to 19, 2025.

JNTU Hyderabad has commenced the application process for the Telangana Post-Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET) 2025 today, March 17. The entrance exam, used for admissions into various postgraduate engineering programmes in Telangana, will take place from June 16 to 19, 2025.
“The Submission of online applications for TG PGECET – 2025 is enabled. However, before filling the online application, candidates are advised to go through the detailed notification and instruction to candidates,” reads the official notice.
Aspiring candidates seeking admission to M.E/M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.Arch, and graduate-level Pharm. D (P.B.) programmes in participating universities and affiliated colleges can apply online through the official website, pgecet.tgche.ac.in. The deadline for submitting the online application without a late fee is May 19, 2025. They can also apply after May 19 and till May 22 with a late of Rs 250.
Admit cards will be available for download beginning June 7, 2025. The application fee is Rs 1100 for general candidates and Rs 600 for SC, ST, and PWD candidates per test. Candidates applying for multiple tests must pay the fee for each test separately.

Step 4 – Pay the fee, and submit the application
Step 5 – Download and take a printout of the confirmation page for further use.
TG PGECET 2025: Selection Process
The TG PGECET 2025 will be a computer-based test (CBT) with 120 multiple-choice objective-type questions. The exam duration is two hours. There is no negative marking. General candidates need to secure a minimum of 25 per cent of the maximum marks (30 marks) to qualify. There are no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST candidates. TG PGECET-2025 will be conducted in the following two regions: Hyderabad and Warangal.
After the allocation of seats to GATE/GPAT qualified candidates, the remaining vacant seats will be filled based on TG PGECET 2025 scores. A separate notification will be issued for GATE/GPAT candidates.
