Many colleges and universities nationwide are now rivalling the less favourable reputation of IITs and NITs when it comes to placement records. Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology (MMMUT) in Uttar Pradesh is no exception, as it’s experiencing a surge in student interest for placements this year. As per reports, both Indian and internationally renowned companies are visiting the campus for recruitment.

Reportedly, certain companies have gone as far as offering students packages ranging from Rs 19 to 23 lakh even before the official placement process. The university’s placement cell coordinator, as mentioned in the reports, highlighted that this year, companies like Zscaler and Tensec are participating in the recruitment drive. Additionally, firms such as Busy Infotech and L&T have invited applications from students. It’s noteworthy that companies like HP and Tata are making their debut appearance at the institute for recruitment purposes.

The university’s outstanding placement record has sparked fierce competition among students seeking admission. According to reports, there has been a 30 per cent increase in the number of students applying for admission compared to the previous year. Last year, approximately 3,800 students applied for admission to the university, whereas this year, over 5,000 students have submitted admission applications.

Recently, Aradhya Tripathi, a graduate of MMMUT, achieved a historic milestone by securing an exceptional job offer from Google. She clinched a remarkable package valued at Rs 52 lakh from the renowned tech giant. Aradhya holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Engineering and this remarkable package is the highest ever offered to a student at the university. She will be joining Google as a Software Development Engineer. Her journey also includes completing an internship at Scaler Academy. Following the conclusion of her internship, she received a generous package offer of Rs 32 lakh from Scaler. However, she has now surpassed this offer by securing a more lucrative one from Google.
