TN HSC +2 Results 2025: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) will announce the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) results on May 8. Students will be able to access their TN HSE Plus 2 Result 2025 on the official websites — dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. Earlier, the results were expected to be declared at 9 am on May 9.

Candidates who appeared for the TNDGE Class 12 exams can check and download their scorecards by entering their registration number and date of birth on the official portals. Additionally, the TN HSE +2 results will also be available at the National Informatics Centres (NIC) located in all district collector offices and central libraries.

TN HSC +2 Results 2025: Date, Time 

The Plus Two results will be announced on May 8 at 9 am. Students can check results at — dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. To download the TN HSC +2 scorecard, candidates will have to click on the “Examination Results” section available on the home page, and then select the designated result link. After that, choose the respective subject — arts, science, commerce or vocational, and enter the registration number and date of birth.

This year, the Tamil Nadu Class 12 board exams were held from March 3 to March 25, 2025, while the practical exams took place between February 7 and 14, 2025.

Festive offer

The +2 marksheet will display the subject-wise scores obtained by students. To collect their original Tamil Nadu marksheets, students will need to visit their respective schools a few days after the announcement of the 2025 results. Details regarding supplementary examinations will be shared following the official result declaration.

TN HSC +2 Results 2025: Performance in 2024

In comparison, last year the TN board declared the HSC Plus 2 results on May 6, 2024, with the exams conducted from March 1 to 22, 2024. The overall pass percentage in 2024 stood at 94.56%, marking a slight increase from 94.03% in 2023. This year, over 8.2 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 public exams across 3,316 examination centres throughout the state

Of the 7,60,606 students appeared the TN HSE +2 exam in 2024, as many as 4,86,961 students appeared in science. The total number of students who took the TN +2 HSE in arts and vocational were 11,585 and 33,256 respectively. As many as 4,69,177 passed from the science stream and 9,925 students passed the TS plus 2 exam in arts and 28,549 in vocational.
