CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has invited applications for recruitment of 3,359 police constables, jail warden and firemen posts.
Candidates, who have passed Class 10, within the age group of 18 to 26 can apply for these government jobs. The upper age limit relaxation is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
Eligible candidates can apply online at https://tnusrb.tn.gov.in/ by paying Rs.250 per application, said an official notification. Last date to apply is September 17.
Applicants will be shortlisted based on their performances in the written tests, physical measurement tests, endurance tests, and physical efficiency tests. The final provisional list will be released after verifying their certificates, the notification said. On selection, their pay scale will be Rs.18,200 – 67,100 per month.
The exam date will be announced later this year.
