Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2025: IIM Kozhikode made its debut on the list, securing an impressive 86th position.

The Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2025 have officially been released, with the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School taking the top spot, closely followed by Columbia Business School in the United States and IESE Business School from Spain, which secured the second and third positions, respectively.

In a significant achievement for Indian business schools, eight institutions have made their presence felt in the global rankings. Leading the charge is the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad, which claimed the 27th spot globally. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad followed closely on 31st.

Carbon Footprint Rank: 82

IIM Ahmedabad ranks 31st globally, offering its graduates one of the highest salaries among Indian schools.

Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore)

Weighted Salary: $179,422

Carbon Footprint Rank: 85

Ranked 57th globally, IIM Bangalore continues to provide strong salary outcomes for its graduates, although it faces challenges in reducing its environmental impact, as seen with its carbon footprint rank.

IIM Calcutta, with a global rank of 61, offers competitive salaries but also faces a significant environmental footprint. This shows its ability to produce high-earning professionals while still striving for better sustainability.

Weighted Salary: $161,012

Carbon Footprint Rank: 67

Ranked 69th, IIM Indore provides a strong salary for its graduates. The school has relatively better sustainability efforts compared to others in the region, with a carbon footprint rank of 67.

Meanwhile, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) made its debut on the list, securing an impressive 86th position. The Financial Times credited its success to one of the highest salary increases three years after completion, at a remarkable 242 per cent.
