Jadavpur University (Rank 12)

NIT Durgapur (Rank 44)

Next on the list is the National Institute of Technology in Durgapur, which ranks at number 44. Also known as NIT Durgapur, the institute was established by an Act of Parliament in 1960. It has been accredited by the NBA and offers UG, PG and PhD programmes under 14 departments and the courses include BTech, MCA, MSc, MBA, MTech and PhD. The admission of NIT Durgapur admissions is entrance-based for UG and PG courses.

The total tuition fee at NIT Durgapur for the flagship course BTech is between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 6.3 lakh.
