TS SSC Class 10th Results 2025 (Out): 92.78% students pass, Mahabubabad district top performer

This year, 92.78% of students have passed their SSC exams. The pass percentage among boys stands at 91.32%, while girls have achieved a higher pass rate of 94.26%, outperforming boys by 2.94%. Out of the 5,03,579 students who appeared for the exams in the regular category, 4,53,201 have passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 90%.

A total of 5,07,107 candidates, including both regular and private students, appeared for the SSC Public Examinations in March 2025. This includes 4,96,374 regular candidates and 10,733 private candidates. In comparison, 5,05,813 candidates appeared for the exams in March 2024, comprising 4,94,207 Regular and 11,606 private candidates.

For the SSC Public Examinations March 2025, the pass percentage among Private candidates stood at 57.22%. Within this group, boys recorded a pass percentage of 55.14%, while girls outperformed them with 61.70%, marking a 6.56% higher success rate for girls, as per a press statement.

Among Regular candidates, 4,629 schools achieved a 100% pass rate, whereas 2 schools recorded 0% passes. Mahabubabad district emerged as the top performer with the highest pass percentage of 99.29%, while Vikarabad district recorded the lowest at 73.97%. Notably, Telangana State Residential Schools achieved the highest pass percentage among all school categories, with an impressive 98.79%.

Candidates can view their results on the Telangana TS SSC official website by clicking on class 10 result on the home page, then entering their necessary credentials, such as TS SSC Class 10th roll number and application number that are mentioned on their admit cards.

TS SSC Class 10th students can collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools. Any discrepancy noticed in the online scorecard must be reported immediately to the school by the candidate.

TS SSC Class 10th candidates who fail to secure a minimum aggregate of 35 per cent would be required to appear for supplementary exams that will be conducted later by the board. TS SSC students also have the option to request for re-evaluation of their TS SSC Class 10th answer scripts by applying on the result portal for it.

TS SSC passing marks

The qualifying criteria for the SSC Public Examinations include both Formative Assessment (Internal Marks) and Summative Assessment (External Marks). To pass a subject, a student must secure a minimum of 35 out of 100 marks in each subject, except for the Second Language, where the pass mark is 20 out of 100.

Additionally, candidates must qualify in the Summative Assessment by scoring at least 28 out of 80 marks in each subject, and 16 out of 80 marks in the Second Language. The requirement to qualify separately in Internal Examinations (Formative Assessment) for individual subjects has been dispensed with. As per G.O. Ms. No. 27, School Education (Programme-II) Department, dated 07-11-2022, Children with Special Needs (CwSN) are granted certain exemptions and concessions in the SSC Public Examinations starting from the academic year 2022–23.

Furthermore, the government has mandated the issuance of SSC Pass Certificates that display subject-wise internal marks, external marks, total marks, and final result as PASS, along with subject-wise results. Both marks and grades will be indicated for each subject, and grades for co-curricular activities will also be shown in the SSC Pass Certificate.

TS SSC Class 10th Results 2025: How many students appeared?

During this year’s TS SSC board exams, 4,95,590 regular and 226 private candidates appeared for the Second Language paper, with no instances of malpractice or negligence reported. For the Third Language – English paper, 4,95,497 regular and 1,313 private candidates participated; one case of malpractice was reported, leading to the removal of two invigilators.

In Mathematics, 4,96,594 regular and 4,035 private candidates took the exam; although no malpractice occurred, one Chief Superintendent and two invigilators were relieved of their duties.

Science Part I (Physical Science) had 4,96,576 regular and 6,026 private candidates appear, with no malpractices reported, but five invigilators were relieved due to negligence. Science Part II (Biological Science) saw 4,96,442 regular and 6,217 private candidates appear, with no incidents reported.

Social Studies included 4,96,470 regular and 429 private candidates, also without any reported issues. For Vocational and OSSC Paper I, 38,865 Vocational and 94 OSSC candidates appeared, while OSSC Paper II had 94 candidates; no malpractices or negligence were reported in either paper.
