TS TET 2023: The Department of School Education under the Government of Telangana is all set to close the application registration for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2023 today. Prospective candidates who have not yet submitted their applications for the TS TET 2023 can do so conveniently by applying online on the official website – https://tstet.cgg.gov.in/.

The application process for TS TET 2023 commenced on August 2, 2023. This initiative welcomes online applications from eligible candidates aspiring to teach classes I to VIII in schools across Telangana State. The TS TET 2023 is scheduled for September 15, 2023, and will be conducted in all 33 districts of the state.
Divided into two papers, Paper I and Paper II, the exam aims to cater to primary and upper primary school teachers respectively. Eligibility criteria for TS TET 2023 include a minimum of 50% marks in Intermediate or Senior Secondary examination (or its equivalent), a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, and a year of valid teaching experience (for Paper II candidates).

As the application window closes, candidates should be mindful of the prescribed application fee of Rs. 400, which can be conveniently paid online using credit card, debit card, or net banking. The TS TET 2023 presents a significant opportunity for candidates with D.El Ed./D.Ed./B.Ed./Language Pandit qualifications, and those pursuing the final year of these courses, to become teachers for classes I to VIII.
It’s important to note that successful TS TET qualification alone does not guarantee appointment as a teacher. The prescribed qualifications for teaching positions as per state government recruitment rules must also be met.
