UGC NET 2024 City Intimation Slip: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the city intimation slip for the UGC NET 2024 December session exam today, December 24. Candidates can now download their city intimation slip from the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in, by using their application number and date of birth (DOB).
It is important for candidates to verify all the details on the slip and report any discrepancies to the exam authorities. If candidates face any issues while downloading or reviewing the exam city intimation slip, they can contact NTA at 011-40759000 or email ugcnet@nta.ac.in.
Candidates should note that this is not the admit card for the exam. The city intimation slip provides details of the exam city and center to assist candidates.
UGC NET Exam From Jan 3 To Jan 16
The UGC NET December 2024 exam will be conducted for 85 subjects in a computer-based test (CBT) format, across various cities in the country, from January 3 to January 16, 2025.

Step 2: On the homepage, Click on the link that reads ‘UGC-NET Decemeber-2024: Click Here to Download City Intimation’
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page.
Step 4: Enter your login credentials.
Step 5: Your UGC NET exam city intimation slip will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Check and download the slip.

The duration of the UGC NET exam is three hours. The exam includes 150 multiple-choice questions across two papers. Paper 1 has 50 questions worth 100 marks. It tests general skills like awareness, reading comprehension, reasoning, research aptitude, and teaching ability. Paper 2 focuses on the candidate’s chosen subject, with 100 questions worth 200 marks.
The UGC NET is conducted twice a year, in June and December, for candidates aiming to qualify as Assistant Professors or secure a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.
