UGC NET December Result 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the UGC NET December 2024 results on February 22, 2025. Candidates who have appeared for this exam can check their scorecards along with the final answer key by visiting the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The cut off marks has also been announced by the agency.

The UGC NET exam was conducted from January 3 to 27, 2025 on 9 different days at various exam centers across the country. Earlier, the provisional answer key was released on January 31, 2025. Candidates were allowed to raise objections to the answer key till February 3, 2025. The result will be prepared based on the provisional answer key.

Step 4 – Your result will appear on the screen.

To qualify for the UGC NET exam, candidates need to score above 40 per cent in both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The cut-off marks, to be announced with the results, will determine eligibility for the exam.  The exam uses a specific method to determine percentile scores, aiming for fairness in ranking candidates. The percentile is calculated by dividing the number of candidates with a raw score equal to or less than 100 by the total number of candidates in that session. To ensure accuracy and minimize ties, these percentiles are calculated to seven decimal places.

The records will be preserved for 90 days from the date of declaration of UGC NET result. No re-evaluation or re-checking process will be available.
