UGC to launch 4 Swayam MOOCs courses on Feb 6 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The University Grants Commission will launch four Swayam MOOCs Courses on February 6, 2023, said UGC chairperson, Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar.
The Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) will on the History of Indian Buddhism, Buddhist Philosophy, Abhidhamma (Pali) and Community Engagement & Social Responsibility.
According to a Tweet, shared by UGC India, these courses will commence on February 6 and will end on May 23, 2023. The course will be hosted by the University for Buddhist Courses, Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies.
Swayam is a platform launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to offer online courses and certification programs. The platform is aimed at providing quality education to students and professionals, who can access the courses from anywhere, anytime, and at a very low cost.
