University Of Wollongong India Admissions For July 2025 Closing On June 27, Check Details

The University of Wollongong India will close admissions for its July 2025 session at the GIFT City campus on June 27.

The University of Wollongong (UOW) India has announced that admissions for the July 2025 session at its GIFT City campus in Gujarat will close on 27th June 2025. Students interested in applying are advised to submit their applications soon, even if they are waiting for their final year exam results.

UOW India offers Master’s programmes in Computing (Data Analytics), Financial Technology (FinTech), and an extended FinTech programme.

The orientation for new students will take place from 7 to 13 July 2025, with classes starting on 14 July 2025 at the campus.

To ensure students get practical and industry-focused education, UOW India has partnered with leading companies such as IBM India, ANZ Bank, Afthonia Labs, and Odoo. These partnerships aim to provide students with real-world experience in areas like FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Cloud Computing.

Nimay Kalyani, Campus Director of UOW India, said, “As India grows as a digital economy, the demand for skilled professionals in FinTech and computing is increasing. UOW India wants to prepare students to become future leaders with global skills and industry knowledge.”

Students will benefit from guest lectures by industry experts, hands-on projects, internships, academic support, and help with job placements in various sectors including banking, software, startups, and IT.

In line with India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, UOW India has also partnered with many Indian universities across the country. These include Gujarat Technological University, Sardar Vallabhbhai Global University, NMIMS Mumbai, Karnavati University, and others in Gujarat.

In northern India, partners include Manav Rachna University, Amity University Jaipur, Chitkara University, Chandigarh University, and Lovely Professional University. Southern partners include Rama Devi Women’s University, Duxford International Business School, SRM University, and VIT.

The University of Wollongong (UOW) is ranked 3rd among universities in India by the QS World University Rankings. It is well-known worldwide for its high-quality education, research, and strong partnerships. According to a 2023 survey, 87.6% of UOW graduates found jobs within four months of finishing their studies, which is a bit higher than the national average of 87.5%.
