UP Board Exam 2025 Live: Mahak Gautam, a class 12 student of Government Girls Inter College, Indira Nagar said that the paper was easy to solve but she found it difficult to manage time. “I felt the questions from the prose section were quite scoring while the ones in poetry required analytical reasoning. I also managed to solve the portions from Sanskrit with ease. However, I could not attempt one question as I failed to manage time. Overall, I am satisfied with my performance, but I will practice time management for other subjects.”

UP Board Exam 2025 Live: Touheed Khan, a class 10 student of Government Jubilee Inter College in Qaiserbagh who appeared for the Hindi examination at Yogeshwar Inter College said that the paper was easy.

“The portions consisting of biographies of writers and poets and literature section was the easiest. I faced a tough time attempting questions in Sanskrit section,” said Khan.

UP Board Exam 2025 Live: Aman Yadav, a Class 10 student from Gautam Budh Nagar said, “The first exam went well. I was a bit nervous at the start, but once I started writing, my confidence grew. The questions were mostly from the syllabus just like our practice papers. Now, I will focus on revising for the next exam.”

Another high school student, Anjali Verma, said, “I have been revising for months, focusing on Science and Mathematics. The pressure is real but our teachers have been very supportive. The biggest challenge is managing time during the exams, but I am confident about my preparation”.

An intermediate student, Arun Pratap said, “This year’s board exams feel crucial as they will impact my college admissions. I have been practicing sample papers daily and avoiding distractions. The exam centre security measures make me a bit nervous, but I appreciate the efforts to ensure a fair exam”.

Over 54 lakh students are enrolled to take the UP board Class 10, 12 final exams. These include 27,41,674 students for the high school (Class 10) and 26,90,845 for the intermediate (Class 12) exam.

To prevent irregularities during the exams, the board is monitoring through over 10,000 high-resolution CCTV cameras.

The board said cameras will send a 24-hour feed to the state control room in Lucknow.

Cameras with zooming ability have been placed outside strong rooms at examination centres to prevent question papers from leaking.

UP board’s Class 10 and 12 shift 1 exams have ended. Class 10 students appeared for Hindi, and Class 12 students appeared for the Military Science papers in this shift.

“Exams are starting from today. I wish the best of luck to the students of the entire state and tell them to study diligently and not take stress. The entire government stands with the students,” Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak told ANI.

This year, over 12 per cent of the exam centres have been assessed as hypersensitive or sensitive.

As per board secretary Bhagwati Singh, utmost care was taken to set up the centres.

“All district inspectors of schools have submitted their list of sensitive and hypersensitive centers to the Board.”

The day 1 exams of the UP board have been postponed in Prayagraj due to the Mahakumbh rush. The exams will be held on March 9.

A total of 54,37,233 students are eligible to appear for the UP Board Class 10 and 12 exams in 2025. The board has set up 8,140 centres in the state to conduct the exams.

The first day, the first shift of Uttar Pradesh Class 10 and 12 board exams started. This shift will end at 11:45 am.

Board officials said that this year, first aid facilities will also be available at all exam centres. They added that trained psychiatrists will be available to help students manage anxiety and mental pressure.

On the first day, the exam will be held in two shifts-

Shift 1 (from 8:30 am to 11:45 am)

Class 10- Hindi, Elementary Hindi

Class 12- Military Science

Shift 2 (from 2 pm to 5:15 pm)

Class 10- Healthcare

Class 12- Hindi, General Hindi

Class 10 and 12 final exams conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad will begin today, February 24.
