UP Board Result 2025: UP Board finished evaluating Class 10 & 12 answer sheets three days early.

UP Board Result 2025 Date: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) has successfully completed the evaluation of Class 10 and Class 12 answer sheets three days ahead of the scheduled deadline. The assessment process, which began on March 19, was expected to be completed by April 5. However, the board managed to finish it earlier across 261 evaluation centres set up in all 75 districts of the state.

For the evaluation process, a total of 1,41,510 examiners were appointed. The checking of answer sheets was conducted under strict security and continuous surveillance via CCTV cameras. In this extensive exercise, the board evaluated 1,74,68,241 answer sheets of High School (Class 10) students and 1,26,79,995 answer sheets of Intermediate (Class 12) students. The UP Board Secretary, Bhagwati Singh, officially confirmed the completion of the process through a press release.

UP Board Results Expected Around April 20

With the evaluation process now complete, the board has started compiling the results. As per the board’s schedule, the results are expected to be declared around April 20.

The UP Board examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 were held from February 24 to March 12, 2025, concluding in just 12 working days. A total of 54,38,597 students had registered for the board exams— 27,40,151 for Class 10 and 26,98,446 for Class 12. The exams were conducted at 8,140 centres across the state, with 2.91 lakh CCTV cameras installed to ensure strict monitoring and prevent malpractice.

The board took several preventive measures to curb cheating and maintain the integrity of the examinations. A high level of security was maintained at exam centres, including:

QR-coded and stitched answer booklets to prevent tampering.

Special teams to monitor social media for any misleading rumours or exam-related malpractices.

Notices issued to 24 exam centres in 19 districts for violating standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Immediate action against 20 exam centres in 17 districts where CCTV cameras were found non-functional.

Identification and strict action against five exam centres in five districts for suspected irregularities.

Malpractice Cases And Exam Security

Despite the strict measures, cases of malpractice were reported. 30 students were caught cheating, while 49 impersonators (Munna Bhai candidates) were caught taking the exam in place of real candidates. Additionally, action was taken in two instances where answer sheets were written outside the exam centre.

One of the key highlights of this year’s examination process was that no question paper leaks or mismanagement of exam paper openings were reported, a testament to the board’s enhanced security measures.

This was the first time the UP Board examinations were conducted under the leadership of Secretary Bhagwati Singh, and the successful completion of the exams and evaluation process ahead of schedule marks a significant achievement.

With the results expected soon, students and parents are eagerly waiting for the final announcement from the board.
