UP NEET PG Counselling Mop-Up Schedule Revised, Registrations Begin Today – News18

The schedule for the mop-up round of the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (UP NEET PG) counselling 2023 has been revised by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who enrolled for the NEET PG 2023 mop-up round according to the previously announced timetable do not need to register afresh. The decision by the health ministry to set the NEET PG cut-off at zero for all categories is what prompted this revision in the timetable.

According to the revised timetable, the mop-up round registration for the UP NEET PG counselling 2023 started at 5 p.m. today, September 26. Candidates can register online at upneet.gov.in up until September 29 at 11 am.

UP NEET PG MOP UP ROUND 2023 COUNSELLING: HOW TO APPLY

Candidates may register for UP NEET PG 2023 counselling using the following steps:

Step 1: Go to upneet.gov.in or dgme.up.gov.in to access the official website.

Step 2: Locate the link that reads “UP NEET PG registration” on the webpage.

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Log in with your NEET PG registration number and password.

Step 5: Fill up and submit the UP NEET application form.

Step 6: Download and take a printout of the NEET PG mop-up round counselling form 2023 for future records.

Applicants who were granted a seat in the first or second round of the UP NEET PG 2023, as well as applicants accepted through counselling in any round of the All India quota, are ineligible for the UP NEET PG mop-up round.

All qualified applicants must pay a registration fee of Rs. 2,000 in order to take part in the UP NEET PG counselling mop-round round. Candidates would need to provide a security deposit of Rs 30,000 for admissions into government colleges, Rs 2,000 for seats in private medical colleges, and Rs 1,000 for seats in private dentistry colleges.

Unallocated applicants from the first and second rounds of the UP NEET PG 2023 who have already paid the security deposit will not be required to do so again for the mop-round.
