UP NEET UG Counselling 2023 Mop-Up Round Merit List Released, Steps To Download – News18

The Director General of Medical Education and Training in Uttar Pradesh published the UP-NEET UG merit list on September 12, 2023, specifically for the mop-up round. To view this list, candidates can visit the website upneet.gov.in. UP MBBS/BDS merit list is available only for candidates whose registration forms have been approved. Additionally, the registration and security fee submission window will also close.

Starting from September 13 to September 15, 2023, candidates will have the opportunity to make their online choices. The UPNEET UG seat allotment list for the mop-up round is expected to be released on September 16 or 17. Through the UP-NEET counselling process for 2023, candidates can secure admission to approximately 6428 MBBS and 2251 BDS seats offered by various medical and dental colleges in the state.

Step 1: Navigate to the official website- upneet.gov.in

Step 2: Then click on ‘UP STATE MERIT LIST OF UPNEET-UG-2023 (MOP-UP ROUND)’ link on the homepage.

Step 3: UP NEET UG mop-up round merit list will be displayed on the candidate’s screen.

Step 4: Check and download the UPNEET-UG merit list.

The Directorate has clarified that only students who didn’t get a seat in the initial and second rounds of UP NEET counselling 2023 can participate in the mop-up round. To sign up, candidates need to pay a registration fee of Rs. 1,000. Furthermore, to secure a seat, a security deposit is required. Government medical colleges need Rs. 30,000, private medical colleges require Rs. 2 lakh, and private dental colleges demand Rs. 1 lakh. Those who have already paid the security deposit in the first and second rounds of UP NEET counselling 2023 will not have to pay it again.
