The Office of the Director General, Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, has issued the online counselling schedule for the UP NEET UG 2023 stray vacancy round on September 21. Candidates interested in applying for this round can view the whole schedule on the official website, dgme.up.gov.in. According to the schedule, the state counselling committee will begin accepting applications today, September 22 at 5 pm. The registration form must be submitted by September 24 by 5 pm.
Registration and security money can be deposited between September 22 and 24. From September 23 to 25, online document verification for these candidates will take place. Further, according to the officials, the merit list will be published on September 25, and online selection will be available from September 26 through September 28. The allocation of seats will be announced on September 29, and the allocation letters will be available for download from September 30 to October 3.
Candidates who have not been assigned a seat in the first, second, or mop-up round of UP NEET UG 2023 counselling are eligible to apply for the stray vacancy round. However, these candidates do not need to re-verify their documents in this round. Aspirants must register themselves by paying a registration cost of Rs 1000. The security money is Rs 30,000 for government medical schools, Rs 2 lakhs for private medical schools, and Rs 1 lakh for private dental schools. Payments should be made via the Internet. Moreover, candidates who have already been given seats in the All India quota are not eligible for this round.
UP NEET 2023 counselling: Documents required
Candidates have to carry the following documents for verification
— NEET admit card
— NEET rank card
— Class 10 mark sheet
— Class 12 mark sheet
— A valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar card/ Passport/ Driving License/PAN card)
— Domicile Certificate of Uttar Pradesh
— Caste Certificate
— Online registration form
— Receipt of security money deposit
The mop-up round of Uttar Pradesh NEET UG seat allotment results was announced online by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGMET) earlier this week. Candidates could get their results by visiting the official website at upneet.gov.in. Seats were assigned depending on the selections made, the NEET score, reservation factors, and so on. Applicants who paid the security deposit during the first and second rounds of UP NEET counselling in 2023 were not required to pay it again.
