UP School Summer Vacation 2025: Summer camps will be organised in government schools of Uttar Pradesh between May 20 and June 15.

UP School Summer Vacation 2025: Last year, summer vacation in all private and government schools of Uttar Pradesh were held from May 20, 2024 till June 15, 2024. This year too, summer vacation in the state in expected to begin around mid-May. As per media reports, this year the summer vacations are expected to commence on May 17. In case of excessive heatwave, the school holidays could be extended for a few more days which will be notified by the education department in due course of time.

Meanwhile, summer camps will be organised for children in the Council schools of Uttar Pradesh during the summer holidays. CM Yogi Adityanath has issued instructions in this regard. Children will be taught many subjects along with studies in a playful manner. The education department has started preparing for the same Summer camps will be organised for children in the government schools of the state during the summer holidays.

Summer camps will be organised in government schools of Uttar Pradesh between May 20 and June 15. In these summer camps, children will be given training in many different disciplines. The education department will spend around 200 crores for this initiative. This initiative will help in the educational development of children and will enhance their talents.

Activities based on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) will be conducted during the summer camp in government schools of Uttar Pradesh. Children will be given information about various skills, yoga, sports, science-technology based experiments, art-culture etc. in the camp. Camps will be organized in schools for one and a half hours every morning. The responsibility of conducting and supervising these summer camps will be of Shikshamitra, instructors and teachers. Jaggery chikki, millet laddu, Ramdana laddu, jaggery-gram and Laiya Patti will be made available to the children in the camp for supplementary nutrition.
