The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for the Combined Defence Services (CDS) 2 Examination 2024. Candidates who participated in the UPSC CDS 2 Exam 2024 can visit the official website, upsc.gov.in, to check and download their results. The results are available in PDF format containing the names and roll numbers of the candidates.

A total of 349 candidates have cleared the UPSC CDS 2 examination. The commission has added that the marks of the candidates will be available on the website after the declaration of the final result of the Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) Course for CDS II. Furthermore, the results of the medical examination have not been considered while preparing the merit list.

“The following are the lists, in order of the merit of 349 (223+89+37) candidates who have qualified on the basis of the results of the Combined Defence Services (II), 2024 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, and SBS interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the 159th DE courses of Indian Military Academy Dehradun; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-flying) Training Course,” reads the official notice.

UPSC CDS 2 Result 2024: Steps To Download

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘What’s New’ tab

Step 3: Then click on the UPSC CDS II final result link

Step 4: Click on the PDF file.

Step 5: View the result.

Step 6: Download it and take a printout for further reference.

The NDA II and CDS II written examinations were held on September 1, 2024. The candidates who qualified for the written test had to appear for the interview round. Through the recruitment drive, a total of 100 posts will be filled. This includes 13 vacancies reserved for NCC C certificates Army Wing holders, 32 for INA, and 32 for Air Force Academy.
