The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the annual examination calendar for 2024.
The notification which was released on the official website lists the tentative dates for all of the major recruitment exams that are expected to take place in 2024. According to the notice, the dates of notification of recruitment exams, duration of exams and other details are tentative till final notice on the same is released by the authority.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is India’s premier central recruitment agency for recruitment to all Group ‘A’ officers under Government of India and to various central services. The UPSC is constituted under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. It is an independent constitutional body, reporting directly to the President of India.

The UPSC conducts a number of examinations every year, including the Civil Services Examination (CSE), the Engineering Services Examination (ESE), and the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination. The CSE is the most prestigious examination conducted by the UPSC, and it is the gateway to a number of top administrative positions in the Government of India, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), the Indian Police Service (IPS), and the Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
