UPSC Result 2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Civil Services Examination (CSE) results on May 23. UPSC IAS 2023 result has been announced in PDF format. According to UPSC IAS result 2023, a total 1022 candidates have been selected for IAS, IFS, IPS, Group A and B services. This year too, women dominated the top positions with Ishita Kishore securing AIR 1 followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N and Smriti Mishra.
This year, the UPSC released a list of 933 recommended applicants, out of the 1022 reported vacancies, who will be appointed in various departments post training. An additional 178 individuals were retained on the reserve list. Additionally, the roll numbers of 101 recommended applicants with provisional selection are also listed in the UPSC 2022 Final Result pdf.

UPSC Result 2023: How many can candidates selected for IAS, IFS, IPS
According to the list released by UPSC, a total of 180 candidates were selected for IAS, 38 for IFS and 200 for IPS. For candidates selected from each category and the candidates selected for other Group A and Group B services a table is tabulated below.

UPSC Result 2023: Know the Toppers
According to the PDF list released by UPSC, top four positions are dominated by women with Ishita Kishore securing AIR 1 followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N and Smriti Mishra.
Ishita Kishor
Ishita Kishore, who topped the Civil Services Examination 2022, has studied from Delhi University (DU). Ishita Kishor optional subjects were Political Science and International Relations. She is a graduate in Economics (Hons) from Lady Shri Ram College of Commerce, DU.
Garima Lohia
Garima Lohia, who secured second rank in UPSC, has graduated in commerce from Delhi University’s Kirori Mal College.
Uma Harathi N
Uma Harathi N has done B,Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT, Hyderabad and she secured third with Anthropology as her optional subject.
Smriti Mishra
Smriti Mishra, who secured fourth, has done her BSc in Zoology from Miranda House College, University of Delhi.
