UPSSSC PET 2023: A total of 77 exam solvers were caught in the two-day examination. A total of 37.1 per cent of candidates did not appear for the exam on the second day

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2023 concluded on October 29. The exam was conducted at 1058 examination centres across 35 districts of the state. A total of 37.1 per cent of candidates did not appear for the exam on the second day. Whereas 38 candidates were absent on the first day.

According to reports, more than 20 lakh candidates applied for the UP PET 2023. Out of the total, more than seven and a half lakh candidates did not appear for the examination. On October 29, around 10,03,768 candidates had registered for the exam in both shifts. But only 6,31,326 candidates had appeared for the examination. Whereas 3,72,442 candidates remained absent.

A total of 77 exam solvers were caught in the two-day examination of UP PET 2023. According to reports, 50 dummy candidates were caught on the first day. Out of which 38 were caught using a solver and two were caught using Bluetooth devices. While 10 people were caught through face recognition with the help of AI. On the second day, 27 solvers were caught by the police task force.

The examination was conducted from 10 am to noon. The second shift of the examination will be conducted from 3 pm to 5 pm. According to students, the difficulty level of UPSSSC PET question paper 2023 was quite high. The questions were mainly designed to test the knowledge and skills of the candidates in the areas of General Intelligence, Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. The General Intelligence and Reasoning paper tests the candidate’s logical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The Numerical Ability paper tests the candidate’s basic mathematical skills like arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.

Students had to study Indian History, Indian National Movement (five marks), Indian Economy, Constitution and Public Administration, Geography, General Science, Elementary Arithmetic, General Hindi, Reasoning, Indian Economy, General Awareness, Graphs, Current Affairs, Tabulation. 100 questions were given on Unseen Passage (Hindi) and Table Interpretation and Analysis.
