Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) released the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) 2023 schedule. Candidates can check the complete timetable on the official website of AKTU UPTAC at uptac.admissions.nic.in. The online registration process for BTech, BArch, UG courses, and PG programmes has already been completed.
As per the schedule, the choice filling and locking process of round 1 will begin on September 15 for JEE Main and NATA-qualified students. The choice filling and locking will end on September 17. While the choice-filling facility for UPTAC counselling round 1 via CUET undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) will commence on September 16 and conclude on September 18.
“A separate Online Portal will be opened by AKTU for Private Institutions against Vacant Seats,” read the official notice. The notification further states that the admission to BTech excluding Biotechnology and Agriculture along with MTech integrated will be done via JEE Mains score. The university will undertake a total of six rounds of counselling.

The BArch admission will be conducted through National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). Furthermore, the university will offer admission to B Tech Agriculture, BDes, BFA, MBA Integrated, BPharmacy lateral, B Tech Bio-Technology, BHMCT, BFAD, MCA Integrated, B Voc, B Tech lateral courses through CUET UG 2023, while MCA and MBA through CUET PG 2023.
The result for seat allotment of BTech and BArch will be declared on September 18 and for the UG and PG courses, it will be announced on September 19. Subsequently, the mandatory payment of seat confirmation will be conducted from September 18 to September 20 for BTech, BArch. Meanwhile, the above process will be held for UG and PG courses from September 19 to September 21.
