Most of the state institutions and several of the category colleges host this round.

Days ago, the National Medical Commission (NMC) announced that the undergraduate (UG) candidates admitted to medical institutes or colleges after September 30, 2023 will be deemed invalid and will be discharged. “Stakeholders, including central authorities, state authorities and medical colleges are directed to strictly adhere to the counselling schedule set by the National Medical Commission for the academic session 2023-24 for UG MBBS courses,” informed an NMC statement dated October 19.

The commission determined that UG MBBS counselling, both online and offline, is conducted in states like West Bengal, Bihar, and Maharashtra beyond the NEET UG 2023 counselling deadline, leading to the decision to void the admission. The NMC had established September 30 as the deadline for NEET UG 2023.
