Step 1: Visit the official websites: wbresults.nic.in or wbchse.wb.gov.in or register at education.indianexpress.com
Step 2: Click on the link for “WBCHSE Higher Secondary Examination Result 2025”.
Step 3: Enter your details: Roll Number, Registration Number / Date of Birth (as required)
Step 4: Click on ‘Submit’ or ‘View Result’.
Step 5: Your provisional marksheet will appear on the screen.
Step 6: Download and take a printout for future reference.

With over 5.09 lakh candidates who appeared for the higher secondary examinations, a majority of them were girls. Last year, 7.9 lakh candidates took the Class 12 examinations. The West Bengal board exams were scheduled from March 3-18, and were held at 2,089 exam centres across the state. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education exam began at 10 am and concluded at 1:15 pm.
West Bengal Board Class 12th Result 2025: Past performance of students
Last year, the results were announced on May 8 at wbresults.nic.in. There were 7,55,324 regular candidates who appeared in WBCHSE board examinations. In the results, East Medinipur topped among all the districts and emerged as the best performing district of the state. The overall pass percentage last year was 90 per cent for all the streams combined. Abhik Das from Hooghly secured the top position with an outstanding score of 99.2 per cent. In 2023, the West Bengal state board results were announced on May 24. The West Bengal Board results were declared in record 57 days, as claimed by WBCHSE officials. The pass percentage was 89.25%.
The window for re-evaluation will be opening soon for students to get their answer scripts rechecked in case of any discrepancies. Students with compartment in subjects can appear for supplementary examinations; the date and schedule will be announced later.
