The Higher Secondary (HS) examinations were held from March 3 to March 18, 2025. WBCHSE Class 12th candidates have to fill in their registration number/ roll number and password to check the scorecard.
This year, the WBSCHSE Class 12th results will be available at education.indianexpress.com. Students can check their HS results by registering for free.
As per reports, hard copies of mark sheets and pass certificates will be given to institutions/ schools from 55 distribution centres across Bengal at 10 am on May 8.
To pass the examination, HS students must achieve a minimum score of 33 per cent. After the official announcement of results, students who are not satisfied with their scores can apply for result scrutiny.

Last year, the results were announced on May 8 at wbresults.nic.in. There were 7,55,324 regular candidates who appeared in WB HS board examinations. In the results, East Midnapore topped among all the districts and emerged as the best performing district of the state. The overall pass percentage last year was 90 per cent for all the streams combined. Abhik Das from Hooghly secured the top position with an outstanding score of 99.2 per cent. In 2023, the West Bengal state board results were announced on May 24. The WB HS results were declared in record 57 days, as claimed by state board officials. The pass percentage was 89.25%.
