Workshop on ‘Drosophila as a Research Model’ from November 1

Aligarh : A Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology (DST) sponsored hands on National Workshop on ‘Drosophila as a Research Model’ will be held at the Department of Zoology, Aligarh Muslim University from November 1 to 8.

“Dr M Vishnu Vardhana Rao (Scientist-G and Director, ICMR-National Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi) will be the Chief Guest of the inaugural function”, informed Prof Mohammad Afzal (Chairman, Department of Zoology) and Dr Yasir Hasan Siddique (Section of Genetics, Department of Zoology).
